We're spilling all the tea π«πΏ
We're proud to be the first yoga studio with a cafe in Brooklyn!
We couldn't call ourselves 'the Block' without a space for our students to connect before and after class.
Our 4,000 square foot studio is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows with two entrances that welcome you right into the cafe.
Take your pick from booths, tables, bar, and floor seating. Not to mention, the people watching will be top-tier.
You're invited for a pot of tea or a cup of coffee before or after class. Squeeze in a workout between meetings, and know you can find a place to hop on your computer before you head home. We'll also have space to host member events in-studio.
We value community connection, so we're striving to make the Block a place where our students feel comfortable to be, anytime.
Jules Karp, co-founder of the Block, is the mind behind our tea-forward community cafe.

Spring Affair Tea was my pandemic-born tea concept. In 2021 I wrote in my notes, βa vision of a more conscious and connected society through the act of simplifying, purifying, and ritualizing everyday experiences.β
The everyday experience? Drinking whole-leaf tea.
All over the world, tea is a cornerstone of good hospitality. I wanted to translate this universal tradition into a dedicated space: a haven of gathering where people can slow down and come together over a communal pot of tea.
Now in 2025, weβre bringing Spring Affair to the Block as an extension of our yoga studio... where the practice of presence continues long after Savasana.

PSβwe love coffee too. You can expect ethically sourced, locally distributed drip coffee along with our fine tea offerings.
The Block is Hot and Embracing the Future
We turned the clocks back last weekend and have been taking advantage of the extra hour in our workday to focus on construction and getting things ready to welcome you at the Block.
As we pace toward a winter opening, we're reflecting on this temporary transitional period in our lives and how we respond to change.
